Shirley Cypert Graham, 81, of Florence passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Huntsville after a long battle with Alzheimer''s Disease. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 56 years, Harold Graham; daughter, Suzanne Byrom (Jerry "Buzzy"); and grandchildren, Graham Byrom and Elizabeth "Betsy" Byrom and many loving nieces and nephews.

A member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Shirley was a retired educator for Lauderdale County Schools where she taught for 30 years. She sponsored the yearbook, and beauty walk among many other activities while working as an educator.

G-Mom adored her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to watch her grandson play golf from his beginnings in junior golf through his career at UNA. Anytime her granddaughter took the stage for a dance competition or a recital, she was there, camera in hand, beaming with pride.
