Decatur
Stanley Boleslaw Szczepanski, 86, of Decatur died April 16, 2012, at his home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with the Reverend Cameron Douglas presiding. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home.
Mr. Szczepanski is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sara; three sons, Stanley B. Szczepanski Jr. (Tammy), William Szczepanski and James Bedford (Tammy); and five daughters, Mary Szczepanski, Barbara Parrent (Bob), Susan Szczepanski, Ann Palik (Martin) and Margie Slemp (Jim). He leaves behind nine grandsons and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Szczepanski.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either First Christian Church or Hospice of the Valley are requested by the family.
