Steve Larkin Sanderson
Funeral for Steve Larkin Sanderson, 58 of Decatur will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cameron Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Roselawn memory gardens. The visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Sanderson passed away on Friday November 9, 2012 at Decatur General Hospital.
He was the former owner of Sanderson Sheet metal, and working currently at CSFCO. He was the former President of the Dixie boy''s baseball, A Manager and coach of youth baseball and won 3 City Championships. He coached softball at Fairview Baptist Church for several years and drove the church bus. He went on several Mission trips to build churches in Mexico. He was a kind hearted and loving husband and devoted father and was also a avid Alabama Football Fan. His faith in God was first and foremost with a strong desire to lead people to God. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors are his Wife Mary Rieder Sanderson; Son Luke David Sanderson. Mother Margie Sanderson, Brother Mark Sanderson. 2 sisters Lisa Pensworth, Sarah Crow. Several nieces and nephews.
