Funeral for Sue Kimbrel Dyar, 84, of Decatur will be Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Agee officiating. Burial will be in Town of Courtland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dyar, who died Thursday, September 15, 2011, was born June 28, 1927, in Lawrence County to David Almon and Mary Edna Kimbrel. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Dyar; son, Michael Alan Dyar; and son-in-law, Hiram Crisler Sr.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Crisler of Decatur, Rhonda Blevins (Jack) of Decatur, Donna Eady (Larry) of Moulton and Lana Delashaw (Larry) of Trinity; seven grandchildren, Hiram Jr., Pipier, Brandon, Alan, Allison, Lee Jack and Will; and nine great-grandchildren.
