Funeral for Sue S. Gordon, 81, of Moulton will be Friday, July 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Moulton Baptist Church. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Elliott Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gordon, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at NHC Healthcare, was born July 17, 1930, in Alabama to W.A. Smith and Alma Judy Smith. She was retired from the Lawrence County School System where she taught first grade at Moulton Elementary. She was a lifelong member of Moulton Baptist Church. Her husband, Arnold R. Gordon, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, Mark Gordon, Bob Gordon, Bruce Gordon and Jay Gordon; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Moulton Elementary PTO.
