Susan "Tooter" Ivey, 48, of Florence passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Alvin Thigpen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, Bobby and Betty Ivey of Florence; three children, Tonya Brown and husband, Dennis of Florence, Danny Ivey and wife, Heather of Florence, Donnie Ivey and wife, Jenny of Florence; three grandchildren, Karleigh Ivey, Emma Brown, and Erin Keller; three sisters, Ann Littleton and husband, James of Florence, Brenda Cook and husband, Joey of Moulton, Betty Hinton and husband, B.J. of Florence; three brothers, Larry Ivey and wife, Brenda of Florence, John Ivey and wife, Pam of Florence, and Samuel "Bo" Ivey of Florence; twenty two nieces and nephews and lots of friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lewis Ivey, Mr. Bob Frost, Mrs. Edith Mae Melton and niece Tiffany Ann Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Littleton, Andrew Littleton, Nick Roberson, Kevin Barnes, Justin Phillips and Josh Frost.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the State Troopers, Lauderdale County Sheriffs Dept. and Central, Cloverdale volunteer fire department.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
