Teresa Dianne May Bevis, 68, of Florence, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at Huntsville Hospital.

Ms. Bevis was born on October 4, 1951 to Herschel Neil May, Sr. and Deedie Phillips May.

She was a 1969 graduate of Coffee High School and attended Ray's School of Beauty.

She was previously employed as a school bus driver.

Ms. Bevis was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Neil May, Sr. and Deedie Phillips May;

paternal grandparents, Dock May and Bessie Mitchell May; maternal grandparents, Charlie Crow Phillips and Hattie Wallace Phillips; brother, Herschel Neil (Doc) May, Jr., and special friend, Terry D. James.

Ms. Bevis is survived by three sisters; Brenda May Goodwin (Byrom), Sherry May Chase (Mike), Mona May Isom (Rusty), one brother, Kevin May; Beloved nieces and nephews, Griffin Goodwin (Melissa), Anna Settle, Whitney Evans, Chappell Evans, Sarah Ross (Jesse), Adam Isom, Herschel May, III, Kyle May (Amy), Lindsey May, Hannah Thornton, Meagan Thornton, Watson Goodwin, Lila Settle, Jack Settle, Jr., Hudson Ross, Addie Ross, Ethan May, Penelope May, Harrison May and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services for Ms. Bevis will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Elkins Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The service will immediately follow in Elkins Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Cemetery.  Justin Pannell will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Byrom Goodwin, Griff Goodwin, Watson Goodwin, Rusty Isom, Adam Isom, and Mike Ackerman.
