Mr. Terry Allen, age 67, of Center Star, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence.
Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2026, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the chapel with Bro. Travis Hunt officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
Terry was born on January 4, 1959, in Florence, Alabama. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved his family deeply and worked hard for them. He was married to the love of his life, Cindi Allen for 44 years. Sharing a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering commitment.
To know Terry was to love Terry. He never met a stranger and was always eager to lend a helping hand. He loved to cook, fish, and watch Alabama Football with his family. Roll Tide.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindi Allen; his children, Jamie Allen (Cheyenne) and Ashley Shepherd (Jasson); his grandchildren, Jackson (Cora), Anniston, Lilli, Levi, and Zeke; his mother, Marajuan Allen; mother in law, Juanita Hill; sisters, Donna Flannagan, Angie Allen (Phillip), and Kristy Walden; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Allen; father-in-law, James H. Hill.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Allen, Jackson Allen, Jasson Shepherd, Phillip Watkins, Greg Watson, and James Turbyfill. Honorary pallbearers will be close friends he worked with at the City of Florence Street Department-Raymond Benson, Nathon Henson, Terry Pittman, Jimbo Boykin, Terry Hart, and Barry Blalock.
