Thelma Mae Phillips' Obituary
Mrs. Thelma Mae Phillips, 69, of Florence passed away Monday, December 8, 2008.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel. Sonny Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips was a loving, caring person, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by a son, Randall Staggs, Florence; granddaughters, Cassie Langley, Janet Staggs and Whitney Staggs, all of Florence; three great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Chambers, Florence; brothers, James Chambers and Don Chambers, both of Florence; niece, Anna Risner; one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Chambers, Bobby Ray Chambers, Jr., Jeremy Martin, Bobby Langley, Billy Phillips and Greg Phillips.
