Thomas Lee McReynolds, age 81, of Florence, passed away on Friday April 24, 2009 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be on Tuesday April 28, 2009 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church of Florence with Rev. Dr. Richard Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow in Florence City Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church on that day from 9:30 am until 10:45 am. Mr. McReynolds was a Structural Engineer in Lexington, KY for over 50 years. He attended the University of Kentucky where he obtained B.S. and Master''s degrees in Civil Engineering. Mr. McReynolds was a member of the Downtown Florence Kiwanis Club and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Florence. He was also a Silver Beaver in the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Triangle Fraternity. Mr. McReynolds is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Sims McReynolds; his parents, Curtis and Myrtle Galloway McReynolds; three brothers, Robert, James, and Paul McReynolds. Mr. McReynolds is survived by his daughter, Kathryn M. Lang and husband Steven; his son, Michael Lee McReynolds and wife Alice; and his grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Lang, Adam James Lang, Hannah Grace Lang, Macey Alice McReynolds, and Tomas Wilfredo McReynolds; his sisters, Betty McReynolds and Susan Johns; and his brothers, Kenneth McReynolds and David McReynolds. Pallbearers will be Andrew Lang, Adam Lang, Gene McReynolds, Hugh McReynolds, Barry McReynolds, and Mac Johns. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Ritchie, Stewart McGregor, John H. Orndorff, Ken Howard, and members of the Downtown Florence Kiwanis Club. Donations may be made to the Downtown Florence Kiwanis Club, P. O.
