Thomas "Pa Monk" Richardson, 90, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at his residence.
Visitation will be today, July 30, 2013, from 1-2PM at Elkins East Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM following at Barnett Cemetery, with Jerry Crowden officiating.
Mr. Richardson served in the U S Navy. He was a retired truck driver for TVA. He was a very loving father and grandfather who enjoyed riding his 4-Wheeler and fishing, and sitting on the porch with his dog Bess.
Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Louise Richardson, son Jimmie Richardson, and grandson Timothy Richardson.
He is survived by his daughters Shirley Beavers (Ray) and Patricia Watkins (Larry); son Ronnie Richardson (Cathy); daughter-in-law Peggy Richardson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.
