Thomas David Richardson, 69, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, after an extended illness.

Visitation will be from 12-2 pm, with the funeral at 2 pm on Monday, March 11 with Pastor Ronny Jones at Elkins East Chapel with burial at Pettus Cemetery.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Frances Richardson.

Survivors include his wife, Susie Manus Richardson; children, Corey Richardson (Lauren) and Danielle Richardson; grandchildren, Devin Brittain, Carter, Cole, and Claire Richardson.

David was a man who loved his family deeply and he was always happiest spending time with his wife and attending his grandchildren's activities, while spoiling all of them. David was a successful businessman for many years and was an amazing pianist with several gospel singing groups including the Melody 5 and the Corum Trio, which his father was also a part of. If you had the pleasure of meeting David, you knew in an instant that he would offer a helping hand in any way he could. Even with his health declining over the past several years, David's personality remained the same by keeping everyone laughing. We are at peace that he is now with our loving and gracious heavenly Father, who knows our every need.
