Thomas Harvey Seale, 77, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 after a lengthy illness.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Garry Gooch officiating.
Tom was a member of the Church of Christ. Cars were his passion and during his career he was the service manager for local automobile dealerships. He enjoyed membership in the Antique Car Club of America and the Plymouth Car Club.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maretha A. Seale; daughters Sharon Fincher and husband Ken, Madison, and Karen James and husband Dan, Florence; son Thomas H. Seale, Jr. and wife Doris, Florence; grandchildren Collin and Carly James, Leslie Hester and husband Robert, and Lisa Seale; brother Walter C. Seale and wife Maxine, Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents E.E. and Clementine Seale, sisters Mildred Grissom and Martha Jean Turpen, and a brother James Seale.
