Thomas Jeffries Terry, 86, died March 1, 2012. Funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Stephen Caudle officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be in Grange Hall Cemetery. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Laverne Terry; 2 brothers, Felton Terry and Kenny Terry (Terri); 3 sister-in-laws, Lennie Moore (Jimmy), Laconia Terry and Lois Terry and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jim Aldridge, Ricky Jones, Marvin Terry Jr, Skippy Terry, Dewayne McKelvey and Larry Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, Catherine Goodwin; 2 brothers, Laughlin Terry and Arnold Terry Jr.
Mr. Terry served in World War II in the U.S. Navy.
