Tim Collier, 60, of Killen passed Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Glenwood Center.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 5-8 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 14, 2016, at 1 PM at Elkins East Chapel, with Bro. Steve Oliver officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.
Tim enjoyed cattle farming and was an avid Alabama Football fan. He was the self-appointed Mayor of Mitchell Town. He was retired from International Paper after 30 years.
Tim was preceded in death by his son, Adam Collier; father, Lawrence Collier; brother, Neal Collier; grandparents, Emmitt and Clara Wilson and Charlie and Sally Collier.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Allie Collier; two daughters, Alison McGee (Jason) and Ramsey Collier; two grandchildren, Landon and Maddox; mother, Joysan Collier; sister, Joetta Trousdale (Roy); several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason McGee, John Trousdale, Johnny Allen, Tony Hendon, Britt Williams, and Jared Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hamm, friends from International Paper, and friends of Mitchell Town community.
