Timothy Sherrod

Timothy "T-Bone" Sherrod, 53, of Killen passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Bro. Ralton McCarley officiating.

T-Bone is survived by his wife of three years and companion of 12 years, Martha; children, Tosha Murphy, and Tabitha Jordan (Phillip); stepchildren, Erica Moore, Roger Treadway and Rosalyn Clark (Adam); grandchildren, Ashlin Gean, Austin Jordan, Claire-Beth Jordan, Noah Sherrod, Carrie-Ann Robertson, and Sawyer Ray Clark; brothers, Mark Sherrod (Thelma) and John R. Sherrod, III; nieces and nephews, Matthew Sherrod, Christi Morris, and Ciara Sherrod; and his loving pet, Jasmine Sherrod.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Eva Thompson Sherrod, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Robert and Audrey Thompson; and paternal grandparents, John R. and Carrie Sherrod.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Sherrod, John R. Sherrod, III, Barry Holder, Macey Smith, Joshua Robertson, and Benjamin Drane.

T-Bone''s family extends their thanks to all the staff at Gentiva Hospice for their wonderful care.
