Tommie Allison Forrester, Sr., 76, of Lexington, Alabama died Monday, March 9, 2009 at his home.
The funeral will be Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Vinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00-12:00 p.m.
Mr. Forrester was born in Cullman County but lived his life in Birmingham. He worked hard to provide for his family.
He is survived by daughters Theresa Eva Forrester, Lexington, and Brenda Jane Cox (Louis), Rogersville; sons Butch Forrester, Warrior, Glynn Forrester (Shelia), Alabaster, and John "Pete" Forrester (Belin), Birmingham; grandchildren Peter Max VanHorn, Wesley VanHorn, Jamie Allen, Bridgett Allen, Paul Allen, Tom Allen, Patrick Forrester, Eric Forrester, Amelia Grace Forrester, Andrew Forrester, Elizabeth Forrester, Becky Forrester; great-grandchildren Parker Xavier Dean, Alex Forrester, and Ryan Wilkerson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Darrell Emerson.
