Tommie L. Gaston, 75, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
Visitation will be at Elkins Funeral Home on Friday beginning at noon. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with his brother Carl Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gaston was a District Manager for Jack''s Hamburgers for many years and retired in 1999. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Killen. He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Gaston and a sister Willie Dean White of Moulton.
He is survived by a daughter Ginger Long and husband Roger of Russellville; a son Michael Gaston and wife Teresa of Florence; grandchildren Ben Long of Huntsville, Whitney Henry and husband Kevin of Florence, Brandon and Bryan Gaston of Huntsville; great-grandchildren Zayda and Zaraya Henry; a sister Imogene Montgomery of Moulton; brothers Carl Gaston and wife Pat of Russellville and Cecil Gaston and wife Kathleen of Decatur; great-Goddaughter Allie Scott; mother-in-law Alice Bryan of Sheffield; a special friend and companion Laverne Daily of Florence.
Pallbearers will be Ben Long, Kevin Henry, Sammy Gaston, Wade Gaston, Bobby White and Pete Montgomery.
