Tommy R. McCravy, 66, of Florence passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Bro. Tommy Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

Mr. McCravy was self-employed because he liked to be his own boss. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and will always be remembered for lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolyn McCravy; children, Sherry Nix (Johnny), Stacy McCravy (Bud Darby), Eric McCravy (Brandi), Tadd McCravy, and Heather McCormack (Ben); nine grandchildren; sister, Betty Keeton (Leon); brothers, Jimmy McCravy (Janie) and Jack McCravy (Tracy); and a host of friends.
