Funeral for Vadie Johnson Cross, 89, of Moulton will be Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward LouAllen officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Cross, who died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Lawrence County to William Frank and Secilia Welborn Johnson. She was a member of Courtland Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Waymon Bostick; two husbands, Sherman Crow and George Cross; four sisters, Sadie McNalley, Effie Owens, Chellie Crow, Susie Drane; and three brothers, Biddie L. Johnson, Omie Johnson and Shirley Johnson. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Katherine Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rickey Johnson, Timmy Johnson, Elijah Terry, Donnie Wayne Johnson, Keith Terry and Josh Johnson.
