Vera Murray Fike age 84 of Florence passed on Monday, February 27, 2012. Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, from Noon till 2pm at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will follow at 2pm in the Chapel of Elkins with Dr. John Brock officiating. Burial will be at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens with pall bears being family and friends. Vera was preceded by her husband Ivan E. Fike Sr. and was survived by her son Ivan E. Fike Jr and his wife Janet of Florence. One Sister, Ostella Akins. Two brothers, Jerry and Erskine Murray. Two Grandchildren, Matthew Fike and wife Kelly of Searcy, Arkansas and Jessica Fike of Nashville, TN. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Highland Baptist Church Building Fund.
