Funeral for Verna Tollison Geeslin, 82, of Moulton will be Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Reverend Don Thomas and Robert Edward Tollison officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Geeslin, who died Sunday, October 23, 2011, was born January 11, 1929, in Lawrence County to Robert Selmon Tollison and Willie Belle Hopkins Tollison. She was a member of Hickory Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Her sister, Faye Mater, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Marvin L. Geeslin; one daughter, Sharon Smith (Gary) of Decatur; one son, Michael L. Geeslin (Mary) of Moulton; two brothers, Robert E. Tollison of Birmingham and Milton Buddy Tollison of Moulton; one sister, Barbara Jean Jones of Hartselle; two grandchildren, James Thomas Berger and Jennifer Geeslin; and three great-granddaughters, Angelina Marie Berger, Joselyn Taylor Berger and Elysabeth Nancy Latham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association , 4205 Hillsboro Park, Ste. 216, Nashville, TN 37215.
