Vida Mae Craig age 81 of Florence went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 29, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday evening, February 1, 2015 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Services will be Monday, February 2, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Elkins Funeral Home with Nolan Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Vida Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Bedford and Lillie Johnson. Her daughter, Deborah Hill and her grandson, Gary "Little Gary" Holt Jr.

Vida Mae is survived by her husband Doyle Craig. One son, Rickey Craig and his wife Teresa. One daughter, Susan Craig. One sister, Wadean Hinton. Four grandchildren, Courtney Seal (Shawn), Tyler Craig, Sarah Clark and Lauren Craig. Five great-grandchildren, Zoe Lewis, Kira Seal, Brannon Lewis, Eliza Kate Seal and Isaiah Seal.

She was a faithful and loyal servant to her Lord at Hyde''s Chapel Church of Christ. She was first and foremost a granny, mawmaw and meme to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When she wasn''t caring for one of her babies, you could find her playing bingo or seated in her recliner with a word search book while watching her "stories" on daytime television.
