Funeral service for Viola Posey was Monday, January 4, 2010, at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. R. C. Borden officiating. Burial was in Montgomery Cemetery. Mrs. Posey died Friday, January 1, 2010. She was born February 15, 1922,in Lawrence County to Joe P. and Rhoda Jane Garrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Posey and a son, Gordon Posey. Survivors include one Son, Hershel Posey & wife Denita of Hillsboro; two grandsons; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael Allen, Charles Richardson, Mike Kelley, Dale Hill, Ben Kelley, Danny Kelley, Matt Kelley and Michael Posey.
