Graveside service for Virgie Carol Hawkins, 69, of Decatur will be Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Brewington officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawkins, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, was born December 21, 1942, in Morgan County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Sherrill; her husband, Gordon Hawkins; daughter, Lisa Speake; and grandson, Casey Richardson.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Letson (Chris) of Moulton; three sons, Chris Bunnell (Marie Marshall) of Dora, Jason Oliver of Decatur and Jonathan Oliver (Jennifer) of Hazel Green; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
