Funeral for Virginia S. Glenn, 89, of Decatur will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Forman officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glenn, who died Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born November 3, 1920, in Alabama. She was a member of Deer Springs Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Her husband, Clifford Glenn, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Jesse Glenn and his wife, Linda; one foster child, Ilean Moore; one sister, Ella Mae Baldwin; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
