Decatur
Graveside services will be held for Virginia Mae Moses, 87, of Decatur, Monday, October 17, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Roselawn Cemetery, with Brother Scotty Hogan officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Directing.
Mrs. Moses died on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 2, 1929, in Morgan County, AL to Louis and Stella Brady, who preceded her in death along with her husband, William B. Moses, two daughters Patricia Guntharp and Paula Holmes, and one son Randy Moses.
Mrs. Moses was a Charter member of Westmeade Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Calhoun Community College and Auburn University. She retired from the Lurleen Wallace Developmental Center after 23 years of service.
Mrs. Moses is survived by one son Larry Moses, one daughter Sandra Such, two sisters Nina Holt of Michigan, Evelyn Moses of Florida, 11 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
