HILLSBORO
W. Carnell Terry, 86, of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
Funeral service will be Friday, May 12, 2017 at noon at Elliott''s Brown-Service Funeral
Home Chapel with Calvin Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Courtland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at
the funeral home.
Mr. Terry was born July 11, 1930 in Lawrence County to W.L. "Son" Terry and Olene Dossey
Terry. He was a member of Fair Haven Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by
his parents; his wife, Ruth Smith Terry and by two sisters, Pearl Crosswhite and Ninnie Faye Ready.
Survivors include one son, Shanon Terry (Angela); one granddaughter, Ashley Terry;
one niece, Bonafaye Cottingham and one nephew, Terry Crosswhite.
