Funeral for Wallace Wendell "Turkey" Owens, 80, of Moulton will be Friday, December 2, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Hall and the Rev. Carold Hall officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Owens passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Lawrence Medical Center. He was born October 13, 1931.
Survivors include his wife, Doris June Owens; three sons, Darrell Owens and Wendell and Hope Owens, both of Moulton, and Rodney and Cindy Owens of Town Creek; one daughter, Stephanie and Jeff Hill of Trinity; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Darrell Owens, Joey Dover, Jonas Hobbs, Jamie Dutton and Jessie Owens.
