Wanda Jean Thigpen Corum,79, of Anderson passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at her residence.

A graveside service will be Sunday, May 31, 2026, 3 PM at Corum Cemetery, with Jamie Sims and Chris Sims officiating. Elkins East Chapel is honored to assist the family.

She was the widow of Homer Corum; daughter-in-law of Sam and Adell Corum; daughter of the late Eleanor and Clifton Thigpen.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff Corum and Stevie Corum (Deeann Jones Corum); brothers, Gayther and Oneal Thigpen; sisters, Kay Sims and Debbie Wright Thigpen; grandchildren, Kylie Murks (Rusty) and Holden Corum (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Micah and Mabry Murks, Charlie, Leah, and Will Corum; nieces and nephews, Dell and April Thigpen, Pam Brown, Chris and Tina Sims, Jamie and Carrie Sims, Dana and Daniel Sledge, Craig and Hannah Thigpen; great-nieces and nephews, Abby and Tyler, Anna and Eli, Ellie, Cooper, and Owen, Nealee, Grady, and Tiller, Devon and Cody, Blake and Chasity, Lauren and Michael, Beckam and Jenson, Laci, Mylee, and Josh; honorary kids and grandkids, Misty, Subrina, Scotty, Jerry, Terry, Hannah, Reece, Robert, and Madison.

Pallbearers will be Craig Thigpen, Holden Corum, Daniel Sledge, Dell Thigpen, Josh Sims, and Rusty Murks.
