Wanda Sue Dotson, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Petersville, Saturday, June 13, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Wanda was a member of the church of Christ. She spent most of her career as a seamstress at Tee Jay’s, and later as a caregiver.

Wanda is survived by the love of her life for 54 years, Harold Dotson; her children, Kimberly Quillen (Barry) and Shawn Dotson (Cindy); granddaughters, Briley and Brooklyn Quillen who were her world. Her family meant everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Peggy McGee; brothers, James, Gary, and Barry McGee; nephew Shannon McGee.

A private graveside will be at Springfield Cemetery with Will “Miles” Stutts officiating. Elkins East Chapel is honored to be assisting the family.
