Mrs. Wanda A. Mathews, formerly of Florence, Passed away Sunday August 22, 2010. Visitation will be Thursday August 26, 2010 from 9:30 AM till 10:30 AM at Elkins funeral home. The graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Greenview Memorial Park with Brad Adcock officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents; Guss and Mary McGarity. Mrs. Matthews was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her sister: Jacqueline Olive and husband Larry of Florence, Nephews; Brandon Olive of Pikeville, KY and Brent Olive and wife Kim of Florence. Special cousin; Mike Coston and wife Paula of Florence. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
