Wesley Stephen Taylor Decatur
Wesley Stephen Taylor, 64, of Decatur passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010. He was born in Courtland on May 9, 1946. He is predeceased by his parents, Curtis Milton Taylor and Ruby Crutchfield Taylor.
He is survived by his brothers, Woodrow (Betty) of Decatur, Charles (Karen) of Birmingham, Richard (Carol) of Decatur, Gary (Patricia) of Danville, Donald (Beth) of Detroit and Michael (Maryanne) of Jacksonville, Fla. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews along with special friends at Presbyterian Towers in Decatur.
Wesley graduated from Decatur High School in 1965 and was employed at Crump Camera Shop for many years. He also enjoyed photography, was a CB radio enthusiast (Cameraman) and volunteered for many years at the Decatur Boys Club. He was truly loved by anyone who met him.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Wesley's brothers will serve as his pallbearers.
