William "Bill" Alford Haddock Sr. age 84 of Florence passed away on Tuesday November 17, 2015. Visitation will be Friday November 20, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. till 12:30 P.M. Graveside services and Masonic Rites will be at 1:00 P.M. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents Keevil and Evelyn Haddock, son William A. Haddock Jr., granddaughter Stephanie and grandson Jeffrey.

William is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Shirley Haddock of Florence, sons Steve O. Haddock (Sandra), and Gregory Haddock (Linda), brother Hulen "Hoot" Haddock (Ann), sisters Gladys Haddock, Grace Crotts, Jackie Darling (Don), five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Florence Masonic Lodge #14 F&AM, and Scottish Rite of Huntsville, AL. Cahaba Shrine Temple of Huntsville, AL., Order of the Eastern Star and Elks Lodge #820 Florence, AL. He was a lifelong resident of Florence. An electrician and member of the IBEW 558 for 66 years.

Pallbearers will be Dow Rickard, Guy Rickard, Brian Rickard, Bobby Lee Rickard, Mickey Haddock, Cameron Haddock, Kelly Crotts and Shane Crotts. Honorary will be Kyle Crotts and Stacy Crotts.
