William Carlon Barnette's Obituary
William Carlon Barnette, 80, of Killen died Saturday, December 21, 2013, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday, December 23, 2013, from 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM at Bluewater Cemetery, with Bro. Ian Butler officiating.
Mr. Barnette was a member of Center Star United Methodist Church. He was retired from Reynolds Metals.
Mr. Barnette was preceded in death by his wife Mildred W. Barnette; parents, John Thomas (Tom) and Lena Pearl Thigpen Barnett; five sisters, Leona Thigpen, Cleavie Simpson, Clayton Thigpen, Virta Barnett, and Leavell Barnett.
He is survived by his daughter Amy Barnette; four sisters, Elaine Butler, Elora B. Lewey, Oneta B. Davis, and Odene B. Hester; brother, James Barnett; several nieces and nephews.
