William J. Beene's Obituary
Funeral for William J. "Dow" Beene, age 75, of Moulton will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00pm at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Strickland and Bro. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Beene, who died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 was born March 1, 1939, in Lawrence County to George Washington Beene and Mattie Mae Norwood Beene. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Beene; three children, Sharon Beene Millsap, Ricky Beene (Peggy) and Karen Wise (Rodney); sister, Connie Mills; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad Davis, Derick Beene, Zach Wright, Jeremy Franko, Mark Strickland, and Flynn Owens.
