Funeral for William A. "Billy" McLaughlin Jr., 57, of Decatur will be today, March 1, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. McLaughlin, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at his residence, was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Morgan County to William A. McLaughlin Sr. and Evelyn BraudawayMcLaughlin. He retired from the Southern Co. with 30 years of service. Survivors include three daughters, Kaley McLaughlin, Emily Lavretta and her husband, John, and Mary McLaughlin; his mother, Evelyn McLaughlin; brother, Paul McLaughlin; and one grandchild, Natalie Lynn Faith.
