William Thomas Cheatham, 62, of Florence died Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2011, from 10AM-12PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12PM Monday, August 22, 2011 at the chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Mr. Cheatham is survived by his wife, Shelia Whisenant; three daughters, Michelle Marie (Shelly) Shuster, Denise Ann Dishong, and Tracy Lynn Cheatham; two step-sons, Cody Whisenant and Chase Whisenant; two sisters, Linda Ann Dyer and Susan Darlene Reusel; brother, Charles Melton Cheatham; two grandchildren, Ashley Giovinazzo and Michael Dishong; two step-grandchildren, Coral Shuster and Ariel Shuster; one great-grandchild, Trevor Dishong. Pallbearers will be Cody Whisenant, Chase Whisenant, Johnny Miles, Harold Risner, Eddie Young, and Roger Hall.
