William Odell Gatlin's Obituary
Mr. William Odell Gatlin, 94, of Center Star, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008.
The funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ with Stan Dean and Almon Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the church an hour before service time.
Mr. Gatlin had been a carpenter for 35 years at Reynolds before his retirement. He and his wife Letha Mae, who preceded him in death in 1996, were previous members of the Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ and more recently the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
He is survived by a daughter Marilyn Jones and husband Tom; sons Wayne Gatlin and wife Hattie, Charles Gatlin and wife Pat and Gary Gatlin and wife Linda; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister Polly Thornton.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
