William "Dooner" Junior Carroll age 65 of Florence passed away on Monday, November 02, 2015. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5,2015 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from Noon till 2:00 P.M. Services will be in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Glenn Murks officiating.

William was preceded in death by his parents Mack and Estell Carroll. His son William Carroll Jr. And his brothers Charles Ray Carroll and Bill Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ellen Carroll. Daughter, Lisa Marie Holmes (Guy Steven). Two sons, Christopher Allen Carroll and Jerry DeWayne Carroll (Leann). Four grandchildren, Jerrod, Jada, Austin and Rosealee June Carroll. Two sisters Judy Franks (AJ) and Deborah Gunn (Wayne). And two brothers Freddie "Elvis" Carroll (Patricia) and Bobby Carroll (Sheila).

Dooner enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in the garden, playing with his grandchildren and watching Auburn football.
