Funeral for William David Mitchell Sr., 63, of Decatur, will be today, April 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Sammy Foster officiating. Burial will be in West Bethlehem Cemetery. Mr. Mitchell, who died Monday, April 23, 2012, was born September 26, 1948, in Morgan County to William Mitchell and Flossie Dalrymple Mitchell. He was retired from the City of Decatur. Survivors include his wife, Betty Mitchell; two sons, David Mitchell and wife, Lisa, of Decatur and Tim Mitchell and Dawn of Trinity; one daughter, Britney Lindley of Decatur; and four grandchildren, Brett Mitchell, Tori Mitchell, Paige Mitchell and Kinsley Mitchell. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
