Willard "Charles" Parrish Jr. age 71 of Florence passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2016. Visitation will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from Noon until 2:00pm. Services will follow with Rev John McKell officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence in charge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, June Holcomb Parrish, his granddaughter Hannah Clemons and his parents Willard and Agnes Parrish.

Charles is survived by his daughter Amy Parrish Clemons and husband Robert, his grandson Matthew Clemons, his sister Sandra Perry and husband Lawrence and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He held a certificate as a PGA Pro and was the Pro Shop Manager at McFarland Park and Blackberry Trail Golf Courses until retiring in March of 2005. He was a golf instructor and coach for UNA from 1975-78. He served our country in Vietnam in the United States Navy.
