Funeral for William Clyde Poe, 74, Moulton will be Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Free Street Independent Church with Bro. Jimmy Fuller and Bro. Waymon Ashley officiating and Elliott Funeal Home directing.
Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 to 9:00 at the church. Mr. Poe, who died Tuesday June 24, 2014 was born on September 13, 1939 in Franklin County to Hillard Clyde Poe and Mattie Lucine Martin Poe.
He was a retired electrician. He loved gardening and farming. He was a member of Free Street Independent Church. His family was his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, William Louallen, sister Barbara Louallen Boyd.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Deweyrean Pruett Poe, children, Cynthia Poe Smith (Edward) and Rodney Poe (Ginny); Grandchildren, Jessie Smith (Casey), Alivia Smith, Isaac Smith, Erin " Prissy" Dixon; great grandchildren, Jessie Wayne Smith, Leila Jane Smith and baby Smith Due in January.; brothers and sisters, Betty Poe Taylor, Linda Poe Sirrine, Billy Louallen.
