Obituary

William Claud "Billy" Terrell, 75, of Florence, died Friday November 21, 2008 after a sudden illness at ECM Hospital.
A graveside service will be held on Monday November 24, 2008 at 1 pm at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens with Malcolm Scott officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 12 pm at Elkins Funeral Home.
Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by one son, Charles Gordon "Willie" Terrell, his parents, Edward and Lorene Terrell, and brothers, Charles and Bobby Terrell. He was a Boilermaker by trade, a member of the Local # 455, and a member of the Masons.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly Terrell; daughters, Lore Adams and husband Nathan of Colorado Springs, CO and Renee Waldrup and husband John of Huntsville; son, Billy Terrell and wife Susan of Florence; daughter in law, Joy Terrell of Florence; six grandchildren, Courtney Terrell Abston and husband Les, Walt Terrell, William Terrell, and Wesley Terrell, all of Florence, Brittany Adams of Clemson, SC, and John Adams of Colorado Springs, CO; and one great grandchild, Cole Abston of Florence.
Pallbearers will be John Adams, Walt Terrell, William Terrell, Wesley Terrell, Nathan Adams, John Waldrup, Les Abston, and Dan Redden. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wadkins, his coffee drinking buddies at Granny''s Kitchen, Chris and Mike O''Kelly, and other friends too numerous to mention.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude''s Children''s Hospital or to the Underwood Dixie Youth Baseball Complex.
