Harold "Tex" Ritter, 78, of Center Star died Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 10 AM to 12 PM. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Chapel. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Ritter was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Miller.
Mr. Ritter is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Ritter; daughter, Beverly Miller (Bobby); three sons, Phillip Ritter (Karen), Gary Ritter (Stacy), and Bo Ritter (Nicole); eight grandchildren, Cliff Ritter, Cayce Ritter, Kerstin Miller, Eliza Ritter Green, Keeley Miller, Will Ritter, Broox Ritter, and Hunter "Big Hunny" Miller; great-grandson, Cooper Green.
Mr. Ritter served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict and the US Navy Reserve. He retired from Local Union 558 IBEW after 55 years of service.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
