Memorial service for William "Bill" Watson, 53, of Decatur will be today, Nov. 20, 2008, at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mr. Watson, who died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, was born March 15, 1955, in Decatur, Ill., to Donald L. and Carolyn O. Watson. He attended Decatur City Schools and graduated from Heidelberg American High School in Heidelberg, Germany. He retired as a Decatur City Police Officer. He was active in Special Olympics. His father preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother; one sister, Deborah Schwarz; two daughters, Erica and Christina Watson; and one grandson.
