Funeral service for Willie E McKinney, 93, Decatur will be Sunday March 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Archie Letson officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. McKinney who died Thursday March 16, 2017 was born on April 12, 1923, in Lawrence Co. to Willie Cottingham and Betty Craft Cottingham.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Betty Letson Townson and husband; Paul McKinney and one grandchild; Marilyn Kimbrell.
She is survived by one sister; Margaret Cottingham, two brothers; Cliff Cottingham and Curtis Cottingham, three grandchildren; Sudonda Engle, Greg Letson and Samantha Smith, three great-grandchildren; Bailey, Sam, and Jeremiah, and two great-great-grandchildren; Tripper and Jasper Kate.
