Wilma Adell Boger
Hartselle Wilma Adell Boger, 88, of Hartselle, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Summerford Nursing Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Nov. 25th at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home. Reverend Harold Terry will be officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
Mrs. Boger was born Aug. 28, 1927 in Morgan County to Elbert Self and Edith Bridges Self. She retired in 1989 from Industrial Uniforms of Decatur. She loved her family very much. The love of her family along with her abiding faith in God and deep commitment to her church sustained her all of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Norma Jean Dooley; two grandsons, Jody Lee Dooley and Elisha Paul Boger. Also preceded by one brother, Roy Self and a sister, Idalene Singleton.
Survivors include two sons, James Paul Boger of Hartselle and Randy Boger and his wife, Jerri of Kalamazoo, Michigan; one brother, Robert Self; four sisters, Hazel Brown, Inez Borden, Eleanor Bell and Edna Nafe; six grandchildren, Katrina, Justin, Shawn, David, Lisa and Jason and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
