Wilma Blanton Chiles Cardwell
Graveside service for Wilma Cardwell, 94, will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor David Currie officiating. Mrs. Cardwell died March 23, 2015 at Falkville Healthcare in Falkville, Alabama. She lived most of her life in Birmingham and retired from the Social Security Administration. She was born September 27, 1920, in Birmingham to William Penn Blanton and Meda Key Blanton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles D. Chiles; husband, Lanier S. Cardwell; brother, Clifford Blanton and sister, Audrey Blanton Jeanah. She is survived by her son, Douglas Chiles (Cathy), one grandson, Chris Chiles (Leigh Ann) and two great-grandchildren, Carson and Connie Ann Chiles all of Decatur, Alabama, and several nephews and a niece.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
