Funeral for Wilma Elizabeth Sherrill, 84, of Decatur will be Friday, August 13, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Sherrill officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5:30 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sherrill died Tuesday, August 10, 2010. She was born December 3, 1925, in Marshall County to William Delta and Myrtle Weeks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonza Sherrill; and grandson, Gary John Sherrill.
Survivors include one son, Gary Sherrill of Decatur; two daughters, Janice Archie of Newnan, Ga., and Beverly Spell of Decatur; three grandsons, Cory Edward, Justin Knoblock and Linton Spell; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, James Otis Weeks and William Delta Weeks Jr.
